ARROW Launches FLEx: A Faculty Learning Exchange to Elevate OSW Education

Ireland's first and only operational offshore wind farm at the Arklow Bank Wind Park (Phase 1), off the coast of Arklow, Co. Wicklow. Constructed in 2003/04, the seven wind turbines have a capacity of 25.2 MW and they are owned and operated by GE Energy. By Neil Michael (16.11.21)
This past week, we launched FLEx, our Faculty Learning Exchange program. FLEx connects faculty from ARROW institutions nationwide, fostering collaboration through shared expertise, best practices, and course materials—all aimed at strengthening the offshore wind (OSW) education landscape.
To kick things off, Professor Arwade (UMass Amherst) and Professor Sabato (UML) delivered engaging lectures at Johns Hopkins University, marking the first of many impactful exchanges to come.
Stay tuned as FLEx continues to build bridges in OSW education!
