ARROW researcher receives fluid mechanics award for wind energy related work

Charles Meneveau, ARROW researcher and Professor at JHU, will travel to the ICTAM conference to be held in Korea in August to receive the 2024 Batchelor Prize in Fluid Mechanics. The citation includes reference to his team’s contributions to wind energy (“..and for bringing insightful and rigorous fluid mechanics to the science of wind turbines and wind farms for the benefit of society”)
