ARROW student Eshagh Safarzadeh Ravajiri presents at ROSEI summit

ARROW student Eshagh Safarzadeh Ravajiri, working with ARROW faculty Ben Hobbs, presents the poster “Self-Supervised Learning for Battery Scheduling under Nonlinear Degradation” at the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) summit at Johns Hopkins University last month.

Eshagh presented their development of a neural battery control policy that optimizes both energy and degradation costs. This approach enables real-time, degradation-aware battery control while providing a scalable foundation for coordinating distributed energy resources.
