ARROW student Valeria Vasquez-Barros presents at ROSEI Summit
ARROW student Valeria Vasquez-Barros, working with ARROW faculty Julie Lundquist, presents the poster Improving offshore wind turbine wake impact predictions by better understanding atmospheric stability decoupling at the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) summit at Johns Hopkins University last month.
By showing how dynamic stability decoupling can occur between different height intervals under certain conditions, Valeria makes the case that accounting for dynamic stability generates more accurate atmospheric conditions models.
