ARROW Welcomes Its First Student

This January, ARROW welcomes its first student, Arash Khojaste, a PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts industrial engineering program. Arash is developing models to enable the seamless integration of renewable energy, with a particular focus on offshore wind, into the electricity grid. These models provide strategic guidance for investing in backup and firming resources, specifically designed to address the unique characteristics of offshore wind and mitigate the risk of energy shortages.
