Faculty Learning Exchange (FLEx)

ARROW-FLEx is the center’s Faculty Learning Exchange and will support ARROW in providing a comprehensive OSW education on par with those offered in Europe. ARROW-FLEx will facilitate, support, and incentivize the sharing of OSW course materials among ARROW members and affiliates. ARROW-FLEx faculty will meet in parallel with students at the annual ARROW-SEA event and conduct faculty-to-faculty training. ARROW-FLEx leaders will create a suite of inter-university OSW offerings so that students across the ARROW universities may study together. Through ARROW-FLEx, ARROW students will learn and explore material not offered at their home institutions, and the initiative will strengthen the ability of all partners, including MSIs, to offer comprehensive OSW education. ARROW-FLEx plays a crucial role in ARROW’s DEIA initiatives as it will dramatically enhance the ability of ARROW MSI institutions to offer comprehensive OSW education to students from under-represented groups who wish to study and practice while remaining embedded in their own communities.
