Travel

For those who are flying, the nearest airport is Bradley International Airport (BDL). While Boston has cheap flights, its too far away to be worth it. Valley Transporter provides reliable ground transportation to and from Bradley, but we recommend booking early as possible, as they do fill up. Parking passes will be available for those traveling by car.

We have an Amtrak station in nearby Northampton (~15 minutes away) that has trains connecting Northampton to NYC, DC, and Baltimore. These are very affordable and low hassle. Look for the direct Vermonter option.

While the Amtrak also connects to the Boston area, we typically find that the buses like PeterPan, Greyhound, the Campus to Campus Shuttle, and PVTA offer more direct routes.

Housing

We will have dormitory housing available for students and postdocs. We have also reserved a block in Hotel UMass for faculty. You can book your room here.

Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that ARROW SEA is accessible for all. If you need any accommodations, please don’t hesitate to let us know in the RSVP form.
